Smoky BBQ Brisket Sandwich + Mac & Cheese

Bring Your Own Protein Pretzels to the BBQ and make every bite extra crunchy, flavorful, and nourishing.

For the Sandwich:

  • 6 oz smoked brisket, thinly sliced
  • 2 low carb sandwich rolls
  • 1/2 cup CRISP POWER Cheddar Protein Pretzels, lightly crushed & divided
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free BBQ sauce
  • 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced onion (preferably pickled or grilled)
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce (optional)

For the Mac and Cheese:

  • 1 cup cooked high protein macaroni (chickpea or lentil pasta works great)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon CRISP POWER Cheddar Protein Pretzels, crushed (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Heat brisket and toss with BBQ sauce.
  2. Layer the roll with brisket, cheddar cheese, onion, lettuce, and half the Protein Pretzels.
  3. For the side: Warm pasta with milk and cheddar until melted, top with crushed Protein Pretzels.
  4. Serve, sprinkle remaining Protein Pretzels over the sandwich, and enjoy.
