Protein Pretzel Burger Lasagna

Ingredients

Beef

  • 1 lb lean cooked ground beef 
  • 1 tsp of sea salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce

Casserole

  • 3 cups of chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar 
  • 2 medium chopped tomato
  • 5 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 2 cups cup special burger sauce (store-bought or homemade; see quick note)
  • 1 7 oz bag of Sesame Crisp Power Protein Pretzels (found in select grocery stores) or 3 1.75 oz bags of Sesame Crisp Power Protein Pretzels

Quick homemade burger sauce (optional):

1/2 cup mayo, 1 cup of greek yogurt, ¼  of mustard, ⅓  sugar-free ketchup, 2 tbsp pickle relish, pinch of paprika — whisk together.

Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef: Sauté chopped onion in a skillet until translucent. Add cooked ground beef, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix and heat through.
  2. Layer Ingredients: In a dish, layer half of the romaine, beef, cheddar, tomatoes, dill pickles, and burger sauce. Repeat the layers.
  3. Top with Pretzels: Crush Sesame Crisp Power Protein Pretzels and sprinkle on top.
  4. Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
